Bridal/Flower girl headpieces

These were an experiment in floral work. I'm rather pleased by how they turned out, and I'd be happy to do some more if you need a matching
set. Click on one of the images to visit the gallery and see more of each one.
Price: Purple: $30 Pink and blue: $25/each

Egyptian Fantasy necklace set

This lovely necklace set is all genuine stones, hundreds of tiny lapis heishi beads and carnelian rounds. It is threaded on gold-tone wire and drapes beautifully at the collarbone. Earring wires and necklace clasp are gold-tone metal.
Price: $50

Raw Silk suiting:

This woven suiting is 100% silk and as natural looking as fabrics come. It would be fantastic for a Lord of the Rings costume, a Robin Hood-type costume, or anything else that requires a very earthy look. It is soft to the touch and very easy to work with. 6 yards available.
Price: $8/yard

Siamese Cat Scarves:

These adorable fleece scarves are appliqued on both sides with playful Siamese kittens. Each one is just a little different, so you can guarantee nobody else will have the same thing! 4 available.
Price: $10 each

Green Polyester Gown:

This great vintage dress is extremely versatile, easily becoming the base for a costume ranging from ancient Rome to early medieval periods, although it's pretty clearly from the 70s. I love it, but it doesn't quite fit me through the shoulders so it has to go. Click on the picture to visit the gallery and see more of it. I don't see any obvious flaws in it, but there is a spot where the hem has come untacked. There's no tag in it for size, but it measures about 37" around the bustline and about 29" at the waist. It zips all the way up the back.
Price: $20

Batman cape

An experiment in what you can do to make real-world costumes look animated... It looks fabulous, and catches highlights marvelously. It does, however, need to be steamed to get the wrinkles out (I can do it before I ship it, but it'll only get wrinkled again in-transit). The cape is made of a blue-black color-shifting taffeta (hence all the colors in the pictures both here and in the gallery) and measures 62 inches from the back of the neck to the scalloped hem, 56 inches around at the chest, and 160 inches in diameter at the hem - it's HUGE. It's held closed by 3 hook-and-eye sets in the center chest and will easily go with any style cowl you choose.

Batman Boots

Worn once, at DragonCon, and never again. Men's size 12, and a bit too narrow for my Bat's comfort.
Price: $90

Brown Oldtimey Cotton Print

9 7/8 yards 100% cotton in a great Victorian print. Purchased for drapes before I moved and lost my window. 44" wide, pre-washed and could probably use some ironing.
Price: $2 a yard or $17 for the bolt.

Turquoise Polyester Suede

3 pieces of 58" wide polyester suede. One piece is 4 yards long and embroidered in a flower motif. The other two pieces are unembellished and measure 44" and 5 1/2 yards respectively. Bought for a belly dance costume that never happened.
Price: $4 a yard or $35 for all 3 pieces

Green Stretch Suede

5 1/2 yards (202") of a very soft, realistic-looking stretch suede. 44" wide, in a dark brown-green. Originally intended to be a Legolas doublet, but then my Legolas backed out.
Price: $3 a yard or $15 for all of it

Red Sequined Fabric

2 3/4 yards of 42" wide red sequined fabric. The picture makes it look a bit pink, but it is a true Dorothy's Shoes red.
Price: $5 for the whole piece
